We all have different strengths and together we can carry out God’s will to feed the hungry. I use my skills in writing and design to help bring their stories to our donors, to let them be heard and connect them to friends who want to come to their aid.

When I pray to my heavenly father I quote Bible verses. I know that I am praying according to His will. I’m not reminding God – I’m reminding myself. I know that God hears me.

This reminds me to give thanks to the Lord for His goodness. This is the confidence I have, knowing He is working behind the scenes in everything we do to feed the hungry, bringing more people together who reflect His love through their support.

You don’t always see the results straight away, but that’s alright. Real impact takes time and it rarely comes from only one pair of hands. Each day, I give the best I can to my work because it matters to me and I trust that only God makes things grow. That’s enough for me, to know if each of us tends the soil we’re given, in time something meaningful will grow and make its mark where it matters most.

God is ALWAYS with us – leading, guiding, clearing the way. He is our one true constant. We don’t have to rely on our own strength or have everything figured out. God has already walked ahead of us, making a way, holding our future and walking beside us. No matter what we face, He is faithful and true.
