You’ll be thrilled to hear that the second national Take Away Hunger Day is coming up on 22 August!
You may remember that last year Feed The Hungry and the Christian radio network across Australia – along with thousands of friends like you – joined forces to feed thousands of vulnerable children…
…and this year, the goal is to help feed even more hungry children! On Take Away Hunger Day 2024, you’ll hear stories and celebrations of the difference you can make for refugee children in Uganda as you help these children to live a full life.
Because your generosity makes a life-changing difference for children like Priscilla. After losing her friend in the South Sudan war, Priscilla says she’s glad to go to school as she tries to put the trauma of the past behind her. She says:
“We are thinking now about what will come in the future. We have already forgotten the past, because the past was so bad.”
You know that it’s more than a meal, it’s providing the start of a hope-filled future for these children as they see Jesus’ love in action. Last year, Christian radio inspired hundreds of Australians to give generously to help feed more than 120,000 hungry children.
This year, we’re believing that hundreds more friends like you will step up to help feed even more children.
Let’s praise God for this partnership with radio stations who are using their platform to inspire generosity in their local community.
And please pray for more of your brothers and sisters in Christ to open their hearts on Take Away Hunger Day 2024… to help even more vulnerable refugee children live a full life.
