Celebrating three successful years of partnership

With the support of Christian Media & Arts Australia and our amazing media partners, together we have fed over 500,000 children during our three year partnership of Take Away Hunger Day. What an incredible result!

Our first nationwide Take Away Hunger Day was on 24 August 2023, where 41 radio stations and media platforms across Australia joined forces with one purpose: to help feed 100,000 hungry refugee children in Uganda.

But through the support of these stations and generosity of their listeners, we have far exceeded our goals, feeding many more children than we could have hoped for.

Our team regularly visit Uganda to see the impact of hunger firsthand. Meeting Ps Solomon, along with teachers, parents, and children, we hear story after story of how these meals are changing lives.

On Take Away Hunger Days these powerful stories are shared across the airwaves and online. We recognise the courage of the children who have shared their journeys with us over these years.

We praise God for His provision and goodness to us for three years of Take Away Hunger Day.

In three years we have raised enough for over 500,000 children to be fed for a month… more than 10 million meals
