We’re excited to share this edition of The Field Report with you, featuring one of the biggest moments in our calendar—Take Away Hunger Day.
Inside, you’ll see how this remarkable event, along with ongoing support, is making a life-changing difference for children in Uganda’s refugee settlements—offering not only food, but hope, education, and the assurance that they are loved and not forgotten.
Take Away Hunger Day 2025 was a remarkable moment of unity and impact.
Across Australia, forty Christian Community Radio Stations came together with Feed The Hungry to help provide meals for some of the world’s most vulnerable children. Together, the bold goal was to supply a month of meals for 140,000 children, including many refugees from South Sudan.
Because what’s being given is more than a meal—it’s a future.
Nutritious food helps children grow strong and healthy, gives them the chance to attend school and pursue brighter opportunities, and shows them Jesus’ love in action.
It’s a reminder that they are treasured by their heavenly Father and supported by a caring global community. What a wonderful gift to a hungry child!
