Christian Media working together to feed over 100,000 children

On Take Away Hunger Day, you will have an opportunity to join thousands of Christians to provide nutritious rice meals to hungry and vulnerable children. Yet it’s more than a meal. It’s providing the start of a hope-filled future as the children attend school with food in their stomachs and see Jesus’ love in action.

Ben Evans, Feed the Hungry CEO says, “I’m overwhelmed that this year we’ll be working together with your favourite Christian radio station to feed over 100,000 refugee children in Uganda, all in just one day.

We so appreciate the generosity of over 30 community radio stations and other Christian media organisations across Australia using their unique position and platforms to host a simultaneous Take Away Hunger Day and to be a voice for the most vulnerable.

There are 100,000 refugee children who will understand what it means to live a full life thanks to these stations and their generous listeners.”

This year Take Away Hunger Day will be held on Thursday 24th August 2023.
