On the 15th December 2016, Feed The Hungry Australia partnered with Vision Radio for Take Away Hunger Day. We started the day at hoping to ensure 1,000 children would receive hope at Christmas by taking away the hunger of a desperate refugee child. It’s safe to say we underestimated!
We are excited to share that we well and truly exceeded that number.
THANK YOU! – Just over 16,000 children were fed over Christmas because of your generosity!
That’s over 16,000 children who have fled their homes with nothing, due to violence and fear, that will no longer have to worry about where their meals are going to come from…. We were so moved by your response to our campaign. Our expectations have been over-exceeded, and the numbers kept rising till the end of January!
