Queue of traffic in Sri Lankan streets

In 2022, Sri Lanka’s political and economic crisis has reached its peak. Building over several years, a series of government policy changes left the nation vulnerable to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Unprecedented inflation and, depletion of foreign exchange reserves left the nation without enough money to purchase fuel for transport or gas for cooking.

Hundred of vehicles line up outside petrol stations waiting for the next shipment. Customers waiting up to two weeks to get a full tank.

Thanks to your generosity we were able to send food packs to thousands of families across the nation through our local distribution partner,
Child Action Lanka.

“God’s love in action, helping people regardless of caste or religious beliefs. You might be thinking ‘We just sent a donation out there’, but for these guys it’s life changing. So I’d just like to say a huge thank you for helping thousands of hungry families here in my home.”
