Check out how your support matters in this update from Zambia and Beirut.

Arise, shine, for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you (Isaiah 60:1).
You are probably waiting anxiously for the COVID-19 pandemic to be over and life return to normal. However in many of these countries, “normal” is still a much harsher life than you or I are blessed to lead.
From the urban slums of Lukasa to the most remote mountain villages, Zambia is full of hungry people, doing the best they can to get by. Some are able to grow and sell food, but their fortunes can be wiped out by a single season of drought. Others are still unable to work because of the pandemic. Children cannot attend school, where they could depend on a daily meal.
But as Roger Walterhouse reports, our ministry continues. When the children cannot come to us, we go to them, delivering life-saving food and sharing the Word of God. The faith and gratitude of these people is humbling to witness. God is definitely at work here, making all things new. We see it in the huge smiles of the children we meet and in the tears of relief in their parents’ eyes.
What’s more, so many of these people who have next to nothing will share what little they have, opening their tiny huts to as many orphans as they can hold under their roof. They are truly living the Gospel.
Thank you for your continuous care for those in need around the world. Your generosity is changing lives during challenging times. God bless you.
