FIELD REPORT – 2016 / Volume 20 / Issue 1

Dear Friend,

Thank you for your heart and passion to feed the hungry – as well as for your desire to feed the souls of “the least of these”, as Jesus calls them in Matthew 25:40. And let me tell you, the children, families and communities you’re helping are so thankful! I’m also personally grateful for your generous spirit, and I know that everyone at Feed The Hungry is thrilled to be working with you on behalf of those who need us most.

Our most recent Field Report shows you how, where and why we’re helping to feed hurting people worldwide. One thing I want to bring to your attention in this edition of our Field Report is the launch of our 2016 Feeding Challenge. Our goal through this challenge is to help 50,000 more of these precious children who are struggling to survive in countries like Uganda, the Philippines and Iraq.

I can think of no greater way to honour the legacy of our late president, Pete Sumrall, than fulfilling this 2016 Feeding Challenge. So, thank you for praying with me that many people respond generously.

Please know that your compassion in action through Feed The Hungry isn’t a short-term solution. You’re genuinely helping change and shape people’s lives for the better… now and for eternity.

So, thank you again for joining the good fight to feed body and soul – and for your prayers for our 2016 Feeding Challenge. I look forward to serving alongside you in the days ahead!
