Can we pray for you?

Our founder, Dr. Lester Sumrall, often said that prayer is the “greatest untapped power in the universe.” He felt very strongly about praying for the needs of others. During the month of February, we honour his legacy by continuing a tradition he started on his birthday – to pray for the personal prayer requests of our FTH partners.

One of the boldest, most encouraging statements on prayer was written by John the Apostle in I John 5:14,15

“This is the remarkable degree of confidence which we have before Him: that if we ask anything according to His will, [that is, consistent with His plan and purpose] He hears us. And if we know [for a fact, as indeed we do] that He hears and listens to us in whatever we ask, we [also] know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted to us] the requests which we have asked from Him.”

During the month of February we are setting extra time aside to pray for the requests that you and other partners send our way. Each week this month, our staff will gather in reverence and with confidence to lift your prayer requests before Almighty God, trusting that he hears and answers every prayer in accordance with His will.
