Dear Friend,
I have big shoes to fill since my mentor, colleague, and friend, Pete Sumrall, was called home to heaven in December.
And with so many kids in crisis who desperately need our help, we must continue to press forward together. With God’s help, we will continue to bring hope to thousands of kids and their families every day through Feed The Hungry.
As you’ll read in this edition of the Field Report, your support is helping kids who are struggling to survive in places like Uganda, the Philippines, and Iraq… and setting them on the path to a full life in Jesus.
Thanks to friends like you, Feed The Hungry is now feeding over 110,000 children daily in 20 countries across the world.
It’s evident that the Lord has positioned Feed The Hungry to reach multitudes with the gospel in this generation. So I know God is calling us to do more.
One of the last handwritten notes Pete left says this: “Millions are starving… we are asking God to open the door to feed 50,000 more children in this coming year.”
That’s our vision for 2016, and it’s why we’ve launched the 2016 Feeding Challenge. Because 50,000 more kids desperately need our help!
So I invite you to stand with us on the promise of 2 Corinthians 9:8, “God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
You and I serve a God who is able… a God of abundance… a God who promises to give us all that we need to abound in every good work.
So thank you for moving forward with us in faith, knowing that our God is abundantly able to help us make this ministry to children and their families increase… and explode in its impact.
Thank you for helping to give the gift of a full life!
