Ben Evans trip report from Uganda

Dear friend,

Please find enclosed a copy of my March trip to Uganda.

I attempted to present it in the “field report or magazine” format because I think a picture tells a thousand words. I’m no professional as you can see, but I pray that my love for the people will override my lack of skill.

It was terrific to return to the Kiryandongo Refugee Camp and see the difference in the faces of children and families. A year of stability, security, healthy meals and the tender care and love of our ministry partners is a simple but pure demonstration of the love of Christ. A full life indeed!

Unfortunately, the number of refugees in Uganda continue to grow at an alarming rate, so we cannot rest on our laurels. The government states that over 700,000 South Sudanese have sought refuge in Uganda right now, estimating up to 300,000 more could cross the border in 2017 alone.

It’s a staggering thought. So we must continue to feed the hungry, body, soul & spirit.

You understand what is at stake, and the difference you can make in the lives of refugee children.
I would ask that you prayerfully consider supporting our ongoing work for South Sudanese refugees.
