Eight explosions — three at church services on Easter Monday rocked Sri Lanka. Three more attacks at hotels frequented by foreigners, another outside a zoo south of the capital Colombo, and one more on the outskirts of the city.

The death toll from the attacks on churches and luxury hotels across Sri Lanka has risen significantly to 250, with around 500 people injured.
