Sending joy to children in Sri Lanka this Christmas

All I want for Christmas is… a hot meal each day.

Forget about the latest iphone, new lego sets or even a Barbie doll. These children will be happy with the gift of a hot meal each day at school. While our Christmas budget may not stretch to the extensive wishlists of our own children, supporting the Meals in Schools Program for the children in Sri Lanka is something we can do!

Can you help provide a hot meal each day for these children?
One hot meal for one child is 75 cents.

$3.75 feeds a child for a week.

Why should you support Feed The Hungry?

Feed The Hungry is a Christian organisation that has been helping those in need since 1987, feeding the bodies, minds and souls of hungry children and families so they can know life to the full in Jesus.

How much of my donation goes towards providing meals?

As of Dec 2023, 84% of our income is spent on providing meals and 16% is spent on administration costs.

If you send us a donation in response to a specific appeal, all of it will be allocated to providing aid.

If you send us a general donation, we will use it where it’s needed most between our Full Life feeding program, disaster relief, or administration.
Is my donation tax-deductible?

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

Yes, donations processed via our website will automatically receive a receipt by email. If you donate by phone or mail you can choose to receive receipts by email or post, or simply receive your annual financial statement summary instead.

We receive donations via post, phone, and online.

How do we feed the hungry?

We have a network of church and organisation partners across the globe who help us feed the hungry.

We work with partners who have prepared food supplies rich in nutrients that are packed and ready to go. They just need to be delivered where it’s needed most.
