Feed The Hungry distributes the food you faithfully provide in two refugee camps in Uganda – one in east Uganda, mostly filled with refugees from South Sudan, and another in the west, caring for refugees fleeing from violence in the Congo. In these camps, over 50,000 children grow strong from your food, while also receiving a school education and Bible teaching.

Few of us could ever consider giving the $10,000 needed to feed all 50,000 children in the camps each day, but don’t fret over what is needed, think about what you have, and the huge difference you can make in a child today!

Feed The Hungry is a Christian organisation that has been helping those in need since 1987, feeding the bodies, minds and souls of hungry children and families so they can know life to the full in Jesus.

How much of my donation goes towards providing meals?

As of Dec 2023, 84% of our income is spent on providing meals and 16% is spent on administration costs.

If you send us a donation in response to a specific appeal, all of it will be allocated to providing aid.

If you send us a general donation, we will use it where it’s needed most between our Full Life feeding program, disaster relief, or administration.
Is my donation tax-deductible?

Will I receive a receipt for my donation?

Yes, donations processed via our website will automatically receive a receipt by email. If you donate by phone or mail you can choose to receive receipts by email or post, or simply receive your annual financial statement summary instead.

How do we feed the hungry?

We have a network of church and organisation partners across the globe who help us feed the hungry.

We work with partners who have prepared food supplies rich in nutrients that are packed and ready to go. They just need to be delivered where it’s needed most.
