Life in the Honduran mountains is extremely hard. The mountainous terrain makes travel difficult, so supplies for daily living are limited. Getting food to one of the most remote regions on earth is particularly challenging. It’s hard work getting heavy sacks of food up a mountain where there are no roads.
Our team drive semi-trailer loads of food as far as they can, before loading smaller trucks that traverse rivers and rough dirt roads. Finally, they arrive to the missionaries and volunteers at the foot of the mountains, who then carry the sacks up the mountain on ATVs, donkeys and even on foot.
Please do what you can to help. Every bag of food makes a difference for one family. Thank you!
This mother is caring for her 6 children but needs your help. She lives high in the Honduran mountains, where life is hard and food is scarce.
For $10 you can deliver a 20kg sack of food to feed her family for 2-4 weeks.
