Stella travelled to Uganda in the boot of a car, escaping Sudan after her mother was killed. At her school in a Ugandan refugee camp, 15-year-old Stella says that food support makes a big difference for children like her. But, she says, they need more food.


Joshua, a 13-year-old refugee, says the food at school helps him learn, but sometimes there’s not enough and children fight among themselves to get their share.


Ruon, a 17-year-old, lives in a refugee camp in Uganda. He says the biggest challenge is that there are lots of hungry children at school but not enough food.


Maluk’s family was separated as they travelled from South Sudan to a refugee camp in Uganda. Without her father, her mother is battling to provide for her family alone. Despite the challenges of living in a refugee camp, 14-year-old Maluk is dreaming big. She says she wants to become a doctor when she finishes school.

Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done.
