You're bringing Hope to Thousands of South Sudan's Kids in Crisis

Many thousands of children are battling hunger and hopelessness in South Sudan due to civll war and drought, which have caused food shortages throughout the country.

Conflict over the past three years has disrupted farming, destroyed food stores, and forced families to flee their homes to escape marauding soldiers.

Hannah, a mother of four, tried going back to her home village where she says, “I can at least try to grow my own vegetables”. But rebel soldiers and lack of rain have left her and her children with little to eat.

Thankfully, you’re helping to bring hope to families like Hannah’s.

Together with you, Feed The Hungry is now partnering with bishops of Anglican churches in South Sudan to provide food and emergency aid to many people in crisis. And so far, you’ve helped provide three semi-trailers full of food and resources to help 10,000 people in South Sudan! What an impact you’re making for many hungry children in crisis, as you help bring the food they need to survive, and feed their hungry souls with the Good News of Jesus through our FTH team and trusted church partners on the ground.

But as you can imagine, it’s dangerous work and needs lots of prayer.

In this volatile crisis, Feed The Hungry has to be ready to react fast and provide resources on the run. Because there are no schools or safe buildings, we must be able to fill hungry tummies and hearts with hope whenever God gives us the opportunity.
