Thousands of Filipino Children Living a Full Life

At any given moment, thousands of children wander the streets of impoverished communities around the world – starving, malnourished and desperate for our help. With this mounting crisis nowhere has the impact of your support been felt more than in the Philippines.

Before we met them, Arthur and Sally Arisobal (pictured above) picked through the gutters of Manila, hoping to find any piece of trash they could sell for a little something for their kids to eat. And when Sally gave birth to twin girls, they had no idea what they’d do. In their dilapidated shanty squeezed between two buildings, there was barely enough room for the children they already had. With no room and no food, Sally and Arthur prayed for a miracle.

The answer to their prayers came through the loving support of people like you, when Arthur and Sally were able to bring their children to our Every Child Every Day feeding program in Happyland. Their kids, along with 2,500 other children, get a fresh, highly nutritious meal every day from a trusted Feed The Hungry church partner in Manila.

Because of faithful friends like you, these children are beginning to experience what a full life feels like. And they can hear about the hope they have in Jesus for a better tomorrow! There are no words to describe the sheer relief Sally and Arthur feel, knowing that caring people like you are helping to make sure their children have something to eat every day.
