Dear Friend,
It always amazes me that, as we step out in faith together to feed the hungry, we see how God works miracles to multiply our loaves and fishes.
Look what God did through five-year-old Lexi and her lemonade stand (see Love and Lemonade story). He put His love in her heart for hungry kids she’d never met. Lexi used what she had in her hands to do what she could. And God did more with it han she or her parents ever imagined!
That’s what God is doing through you too – as you give and pray to help some of the world’s poorest kids know how good it feels to know Jesus, so they can have life to the full!
I’m so grateful for how friends like you are helping to feed 30,000 children in Uganda each day. But after visiting Uganda recently, I saw firsthand that many more kids desperately need our help. So please pray that we’ll receive an outpouring of support to make that possible.
The challenge seems great, but I’m inspired by the apostle Paul who wrote: “I always pray with joy because of your partnership… being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion…” (Philippians 1:4-6)
So let’s keep praying with joy together – as we establish our new feeding program in Haiti and shine God’s light into the lives of 3,200 needy kids there. I can’t wait to hear the stories of life-change that will come out of it and then share them with you.
Finally, what a joy it was to see radio stations across Australia join forces with caring friends like you to provide hundreds of meals for South Sudanese refugee kids in Uganda.
May God fill you with joy as well!
