BURKINA FASO
More than 80 percent of the people live in extreme poverty in Burkina Faso.
Children walk long distances to school, often times without having eaten breakfast.
Population: 17,322,796 (2014)
Ethnic groups: Mossi, Fulani, Lobi, Bobo

PLEASE PRAY:
That more support would allow us to feed more children and share the love of Christ with Christians and Muslims alike
BURUNDI
80 percent of Burundi’s population lives in poverty with its landlocked geography, lack of access to education, and the proliferation of HIV/AIDS.
Population: 8,749,000 (2012)
Ethnic groups: Hutu, Tutsi, Twa
Main religion: Roman Catholic
PLEASE PRAY:
That there would be increased support to feed the desperately hungry children, as 56.8 percent of children under five suffer from chronic malnutrition
MALAWI
One of the world’s least developed countries and a largely rural population, Malawi’s economy is heavily based in agriculture. Sadly, Malawi has low life expectancy and high infant mortality rates.
Population: 16,407,000 (2013)
Ethnic groups: Chewa, Lomwe, Yao, Ngoni, Tumbuka
Main religion: Christianity
PLEASE PRAY:
That Feed The Hungry can feed more children in Malawi so fewer lives are cut short by hunger unnecessarily

Population: 15,205,539 (2013)
Ethnic groups: Khmer, Vietnamese, Chinese
Main religion: Theravada Buddhism
PLEASE PRAY:
That Feed The Hungry would be able to reach the neediest children with food and the gospel, especially those who are unable to finish elementary school
