Dear Friend,

This past year has been so amazing thanks to friends like you! From providing 4.5 million meals in the wake of the devastation caused by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, to feeding 25,000 children a day in Uganda, it feels good to know your prayers and gifts are having such a tremendous impact.

This last year shows that, when generous friends respond to the needs of hungry people all over the world, lives are forever changed!

One example of this is happening right now in Kiryandongo, Uganda, where 26,000 refugees – about half of them children – have come across from South Sudan with nothing more than the clothes on their backs. Because of Feed The Hungry’s commitment to feed Sudanese children in the refugee camp, the Prime Minister’s Office quickly established seven schools in Kiryandongo to help educate and feed these children. Thank you so much!

But, as 2014 winds down, we must see a generous outpouring of support globally… to the tune of $358,000… in order to finish the year strong, ready to impact more lives in the coming year! So, as you read the stories of changed lives in this edition of our Field Report, I pray you’ll see the urgency of the work that’s before us… and that your heart will be moved to give and help provide a full life to people in need.

May God bless you and yours this holiday season!

Because a full life feels good,

Peter Sumrall,
President
