A charity partner for your EOFY appeal can significantly bolster
your fundraising and incentivise supporters.

Feed The Hungry are partnering with a limited number of radio stations in 2017 with an incentive to help you increase your impact in your local community, and at the same time feed Ugandan refugee children who desperately need help.

How does a Feed The Hungry incentive work?

Feed the Hungry have secured a group of donors who have a passion for Christian radio as well as Feed The Hungry. As you encourage your listeners to support your station as a monthly partner, their donation activates an anonymous donor to give to Feed The Hungry. By giving to your station’s local impact, donors are also giving to a refugee child through this incentive, encouraging them to make their decision and increase their commitment. Every donor-dollar raised stays with the station, and the anonymous partner will donate directly to Feed The Hungry.

Feed The Hungry will offer 20 minutes coaching from radio fundraising specialists ShareMedia
Scripts for announcers explaining the initiative
A portfolio of produced spots if you don’t have the time to produce your own
Australian Director of Feed The Hungry Australia available for interviews
Information sheets and the latest statistics from the ground in Uganda
Audio from recent interviews in Uganda

Station commitment:

A Feed The Hungry flyer included with the Monthly Partner receipts (provided by Feed The Hungry) and a mention in the newsletter
Station provides the names of donors who gave (within two weeks of the appeal) so Feed The Hungry can contact them and thank them for support through your on-air appeal
Agreement to participate in training and follow scripts
Approval on Feed The Hungry on-air communication, including social media.
Sample recordings of appeal on-air spots mention Feed The Hungry (within two weeks of the appeal).
