2008 Ambulance Drive

Part of the winter distribution was to assess the health and fitness of the local population by FTH Germany Director, Jean-Pierre Rummens.

Jean-Pierre was clear and straightforward, as he sent this short text from the field… “THEY NEED THIS AMBULANCE NOW”.

FTH is in the final stages of getting necessary approvals to drive through Turkey, Iran, and other nations along the way. More information will soon be available.

How can I Help?

We are looking for volunteers with active first-aid training, or nurses and doctors to participate in free clinics that will be conducted in Pakistan. If you are interested in participating please contact the office.

FTH is also looking to increase our medical supplies for the clinics, if you would like to make a donation of medical equipment or supplies for this project please contact the office.

FTH is also looking for sponsors for the fuel and other misc costs of driving the Ambulance almost 6000km from Germany to Pakistan.

2007 Winter relief

FTH Director, Jean-Pierre returned again to remote northern Pakistan in late 2007.

Coordinating distribution of relief supplies for survivors of the 2005 earthquake, some who remain without permanent housing, relying on our emergency tents delivered after the initial disaster.

2005 Earthquake relief

In October 2005, an earthquake struck the remote and Northern Pakistan.

According to U.N. estimates there was massive Destruction in six northern districts of North Western Frontier Province (NWFP), five districts of Azad of Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), including Muzaffarabad.

The same U.N. report, indicated priority needs for up to 2.5 million affected people in AJK and 2 million affected people in NWFP.
