Mt Kelud Volcano Alert – October 2007
On Tuesday Oct 16th the Indonesian Government raised the status of a volcano alert in East Java Indonesia to it’s highest level and recommended people evacuate the area immediately.
FTH & relief partners on the ground maintained a close watch until the situation was downgraded. Limited relief operations were conducted.
West Java Tsunami – July 2006
An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter Scale was recorded off the coast of Java on Monday 17th July at 3.19PM local time.
