“The best part of working at Feed The Hungry is being part of a team, in partnership with our partners and friends, working together toward the one goal; to feed the hungry, knowing that lives are being changed, children and their families are being  fed, showing them that there is a God who cares and they have not been forgotten.

I had the privilege of going to Romania in 2012 on a short mission trip and saw first-hand what Feed The Hungry is doing in the field and the impact it is making in peoples lives.

On day 1 after meeting up with the rest of the team in Bucharest we purchased supplies to make up food packs and visited families in a small village outside of Bucharest with a local pastor.

As we went from house to house, we saw hope come alive in faces and tears flow. As we prayed with the locals and gave them their food packs, I knew that God was touching their hearts and showing His love toward them.

It was amazing to see the impact that Feed The Hungry is having, and it showed me the difference that is being made with the help of our donors, partners and friends.”

This single mum has a 15 year old son and a 2 year old daughter. Through tears, she told us her husband had left her, she was very happy and thankful that we prayed for her and gave them food.
